Biography

 
  • Born in 1994 in Izmir. Denizcan Eren who has won many international titles is currently in Germany as an international soloist and orchestra musician. He has given concerts as soloist with groups such as Nice Philarmonic Orchestra(France), Les Flutes d’Azur(France), Uetendorf Chamber Orchestra(Switzerland), Sofia String Soloists(Bulgaria), and performed as the soloist in the Flute Convention in Paris and the La Cote Flute Festival(Switzerland).


    His first cd was released in 2015 by the Maxence Larrieu Competition by Le Chant de Linos company and in 2018 he was awarded the title of ‘artist’ by the flute brand Wm Haynes.


    Denizcan Eren was chosen to the Classeek platform in 2020 and shared the stage with Emmanuel Pahud and Eric Le Sage at the Classeek Showroom opening.


    Denizcan Eren started his flute education at Bilkent Musical Preparatory School in the class of Stiliana Stavreva. He continued his education in Nice Conservatory in France and graduated from the class of Sibel Pensel and subsequently joined the flute class of Felix Renggli at the Basel Music Academy. He was chosen among the many applicants as the single one at the competition held by Berlin Philarmonic Orchestra for the Karajan Academy in 2018 and he took place in the orchestra for two years as the student of the famous flutist Emmanuel Pahud. As Denizcan Eren continued his graduate studies at Hochschule fur Musik Hanns Eisler with Benoit Fromanger, his education was supported by CEV Sanat and also he has won the Borusan Music scholarship.


    During his musical education he performed as the solo flutist in many Orchestras such as Karajan Academy Orchestra, Orchestre National de France, Luzerner Sinfonieorchester and had the opportunity to perform under the conductors such as Kirill Petrenko, Mariss Jansons, Daniele Gatti, Paavo Jarvi, Andres Orozco-Estrada.


    As of 2021  Denizcan Eren is a regular staff of NDR Hamburg Elbphilarmonie Orchestra as flute player and also solo flutist in the East West Divan Orchestra under the conductorship Daniel Barenboim and Berlin Boulez Ensemble.


    In 2022 he performs as the solo flutist with the Divan Orchestra at the the most prestigious festivals of Europe including Luzern and Salzburg and also at the the summer tour covering 5 cities where Lang Lang performs as soloist.
